When you are in college, you will most likely want to go out and pick up some girls. College life can be hard, and if you have a lot of friends that are girls, chances are they won’t be smiling. The will probably be thinking about the next exam that they have or the different assignments that they have due. If you already have a girlfriend in college, or you are looking for one, here are some great ways to make the girls in your life smile. Girls love guys that can make them smile. If you can make them smile, you will get a better shot with them and you they will like you more.
1. Tell them a corny joke. Corny jokes are a great way to break the ice. Find the corniest joke that you can. Even if it is absolutely horrible, she will probably chuckle a little bit. She’ll like that you are willing to find corny jokes to make her laugh.
2. Don’t forget the chivalry. Many girls are positive that chivalry is dead. Show her that it isn’t so. Pull out her chair when you go to a restaurant and tell her, “Your chair awaits you my princess.” She’ll love the fact that you are at least trying to be chivalrous. If you make a big show out of it, and act goofy, she won’t feel awkward about it and will just laugh.
3. Leave her a voicemail at anytime during the day. If there is a time that you know that she’ll have her phone off (if she’s in class or at the gym) take that time to leave her a voicemail.
4. Leave her a note. Girls love when you leave them notes. If you know that you won’t see her until later, slip a note in her purse and tell her how much you care about her. She will find it and think about you for the rest of the day. She will probably be excited to come back to see you. Handwritten notes work the best―especially with texting and email. She will appreciate that you took time to write her a note.
5. Tell her that she is beautiful. Tell her for no reason, other than you think that she is beautiful. This will make her smile from head to toe. Women love to be told that they are beautiful. Steer away from telling her that she’s “hot” or “sexy”. Women will think that you are looking to get some action.
